Christmas at our Home

It is the season... to celebrate, eat, drink, party - and of course to decorate your home for all the celebrating, eating, drinking and partying that is to take place in the next few weeks.  I spent the last few days working on our Christmas decorations. Here are some pictures of the results.

Pine cones and ribbons decorate closet doors in the hallway

Nutcrackers stand guard at the end of the hall

A pine cone hangs on a bow

White lights, fresh pine branches silver and
coral on top of the buffet

A snowman ornament is propped up against
the carved lamp on the bar cart

Pine branches in silver cups, votive holders and piece
of driftwood with twinkle lights and air plants

Tillandsias need only a little misting
every so often

Fresh rosemary wreaths decorate the back of chairs

It is simple to create these charming little wreaths: floral wire,
a branch of rosemary and some ribbon is all it takes

Most of these projects are very simple, and can be done in a few hours. I like to keep the colors simple, mostly green, silver, gold and white. There are more pictures to come in my next post, so stay tuned!

  1. Fun! Looks like you like some of the "natural" type elements for your Christmas decor too! :)
