From Antique Bowl to Coffee Table

We bought this old hand-carved bowl from an Indonesian import company over a year ago. It has always been my plan to convert it to a table. Well I finally found the time and took it down to Min Plastics in Honolulu. They custom made the clear acrylic top with three tabs. It turned out great. 

My new table is ready for pickup at Min Plastics.

I went with the thickest option, 1/2 inch, to make it sturdy.

It is perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Or afternoon tea, for that matter.
