On our recent travels in the South, we visited the brand new Music City Center in the downtown Nashville. It is a beautiful building, with special touches of music incorporated throughout. It is an enormous structure, taking up three city blocks. Definitely a great example of 21st century design!

The building (completed in May 2013) cost $600 million.
The designers were TVS Design of Atlanta; Tuck-Hinton Architects, a Nashville
The building has lots of natural light.
All the glass creates an openness to the space. Because of this openness,
the large scale of the building adds to its beauty.
Wood paneling and limestone cover the walls.
The carpet has a sound wave motif woven into it.
The mammoth building has 13,500 light fixtures.
